a visit from Aunt Erin

Aunt Erin Is back in Michigan after a long drive from San Diego meeting Grandma Rose & Grandpa Bob half way in Colorado. She has been with us since Tuesday when she drove down from Traverse City. Here are some photos from the past few days of bike rides, trips to the park, playing the Wii, visiting mommy at work, watching movies, making pottery, jumping on the trampoline, swimming and visiting Independence Lake Park with friends from school.

Petey's 12 step program

Petey has recently decided that maybe walking is better than crawling and has taken steps to that end. The problem is that you never know when he'll decide to try so it has not been easy to capture on video. Here is a weeks worth of photos and video clips:

Photos of Birmingham's newest Barnum Park. The city demolished most of the Barnum School (circa 1912) but left the facade from the front entrance as well as the smoke stack from the power plant.

The kids LOVED this park and are impatiently waiting for me to finish so we can go back.

An evening at Greenfield Village
