I'm not sure what name we eventually settled on but somehow, some way Masons volunteered to host Thanksgiving in Cincy which then turned into early Christmas and it was wonderful. We mostly all stayed at the Masons and all the kids were able to make it so we got lots of cousin time, lots of Goldie/Lola time and lots of food, fun and memories made.
I am very grateful for my family - despite our disagreements on so much we are always able to recognize the value of being with and getting to love one another, despite our vaccination, covid, masking opinions and/or political or religious views. THANK GOD FOR THAT! People willing to NOT see their family members because they don't behave or believe like they do is one of the saddest things I can imagine. I mean I get that some people can be toxic, but I think we're looking too hard for toxicity lately and not looking hard enough to find our tolerance. No one is perfect and what a gift it is to be loved and to get to love anyway!
