I had a great, low key 48th birthday. Liliana picked me out this perfect coaster and Maria and Ty sent an edible arrangement and mom/dad gave me money just in time to pay off what I owed for PTP groceries. I also got a text in the afternoon and some great mom friends took me out for an amazing meal. I am so blessed!!
It's only November 8 and I've made it to three cemeteries so far! On the way to visit grandma Alice the girls and I stopped to visit my mom's parents. Above is Mike showing Mikey the proper way to "army roll" his sleeves on his costume made up of Mike's actual fatigues from his army days.
One Saturday I did some FFF and we drug the 5 kids still at home out for a walk at our favorite spot off Hines Drive.
The football banquet was a great way to end another hard fought season and I'm so excited for the noise these boys are gonna bring senior year. They've played all 4 years on varsity and have been out-benched and out-sized almost every game...I really feel like this final year is going to be their amazing underdog comeupance for all their hard work and dedication. I BELIEVE!!! Below is an instagram post from the last stadium clean up of the season. I love watching Jesus be lifted up in the Big House above all of Ann Arbor and the Sunday's gospel antiphon is of course one many sports fans will recognize!! John 3:16!
Shortly after Dave passed I thought to volunteer to take any of his clothing to make some quilts or other items for the Kendzicky family. I started some Rosary pouches and while they are in a very rough prototype stage, I was able to take my first fruits and sit with Dave on a gorgeous sunny November day and pray my 53rd Rosary of a 54-Day-Novena of Rosaries with him. #fightlikeHeaven
I was able to not only make it to see grandma Alice the first weekend in November but also to get to my favorite Mass at Saint Patrick and Brighton and lucky, blessed, grateful me got to experience not only the Doman's singing but Abigail home for the weekend too!
Halloween 2022 did not disappoint. It looked like it might be rainy after days of sun, but the rain held off and Zombie Cheerleader and Leopard Girl had a blast running from house to house while Mike and I tried to keep up :) Mateo went with a friend (not pictured b/c I can be cool mom) and Peter passed out.

As football ends for Mikey, JV Basketball begins for Mateo. Like literally the same day/time. We picked up at HVCS, drove to St Paul, watched them play and then Mike dropped me off at the football banquet!
At HVCS kids K-3 dress up for All Saints. We had Joan of Arc and Saint Michael the Archangel! (who had a ton of fun making their sword/shields out of random stuff we found at gma/gpa's condo on a visit)
