We had an extended celebration of Paulina's birthday of course since rehearsal dinner and the wedding meant we couldn't celebrate with grandma Paula until Sunday. Lucy has also been taking ballet on Friday mornings with a homeschool family we know. The three "regulars" are Lilia, Lily and Lulu if you can believe it! The last class in January we were able to celebrate Lily's birthday (the teacher's little sister) and they hosted a lovely tea for the girls which both Paulina and Karolina (my friend's daughter was able to attend...too bad both those girls don't go by Lina...that would be a class!!)
One Sunday we were also lucky enough to have Fran join us at grandma's house!
It didn't last very long, but Paulina tried to take over Isabel's old room with this sign. She slept in there alone maybe 3 whole nights so all bets are off now...come on over!
The OMeara's got a new puppy, Lady Ruby, and boy were we excited to get some cuddle time with her!
When Carmen moved back to school she had to take the red van of my parents instead of her Jeep since it had a flat. So once again we were able to make a quick trip to see grandma Alice before another lockdown when we traded vehicles. We also brought a photo book I put together with pics and letters from Maeve, Erin, me, and a bunch of the great-grandkids - we even had a Sean/Will/Lowell/Beckett/ Whitney page!
This is my 'covid' line at work. Every week I have to go stand in line and get a test. Probably 50 people in back of me, 50 people in front, not a one of us experiencing symptoms! Your tax dollars at work.

Mateo played basketball for JV. He didn't get a lot of playing time except for his second to last game which he played almost the whole game for. He made 3 points and blocked 2 shots!
Peter on the left is in Paulina's class and his fidget toys made me laugh. On the right is an empty tin of sugar cookies that Maeve sent with Lulu's birthday gift. It was full and within an hour or so completely empty!
We've had a MAJOR life change in that we are parting ways with our beloved school of 18 years, Spiritus Sanctus Academy. Paulina started homeschooling with the Ekblads officially on the last day of January. I am beyond speechlessly grateful for the support of good friends as we deal with this life transition.

We were able to host a Rosary at our house one Friday and Karolina and Lilia got these glasses out of the dress up bin and cracked me up when they took the puppy out for a walk!
