But before we talk about that, we'll discuss the "first accident" - it is over and done with. Maria, Carmen and Isabel took off one Sunday evening in the big boat (the Grand Marquis I got from my generous grandma that I drive). It was rainy and wet. This car has rear wheel drive. A bit of a fish tail and at least a mile ride home on the rim (youch!) but no other cars were harmed in the making of this flat tire, a little patch of grass is no worse for wear and I have two new tires and a wheel alignment. Thank goodness that's over and that it was very, very minor.

Guess who's getting kitties!?!?! Our lovely friends the Bischoffs let us come over and hug and cuddle and squeeze them prior to the actual adoption later this spring (mid-May)
Prior to the kitty visit, Mike and I finally took advantage of our teenagers and my parents absence from their condo in Brighton and had a very satisfying (albeit quick) getaway from Friday night about 8pmish to Saturday morning about 11amish. Maria held down the fort and even got to experience nighttime puking and didn't even call to bother us. What a girl!
Prior to the kitty visit and after the getaway, four kids and I made what has become our monthly visit to St Leo's in Detroit to help occupy kids while their moms get to attend a talk arranged through the generous and amazing Guadalupe Workers.
After our hard work (yeah right) enjoying the sunshine with a bunch of fun kids we rewarded ourselves with ice cream!
Just another fun collage of a spectacular 75+ degree day FULL of sunshine, friends and all the good.
Grandma Paula got some fabulous new furniture and a PADDLE BOAT!!
With temps in the 80s on Sunday we took her out for her maiden voyage!
Paulina loved the beach and we made at least 3 visits. Downward dog in 60 degree water...why not?
My day off, Monday, brought another 80 degree sunshine day so off we went to Greenfield Village!
The trees are all budding! Hooray for spring!
Ice cream!
I'm not sure who was happier, the turtles, the fish or us!
Wearing pink leggings in honor of Missy, Mike's cousin, who is having surgery this Friday.
Please keep her in prayer!
