Carmen & Mateo stayed with Grandma Paula so the rest of us could fit in one van and go visit Grandma Alice. Grandma Rose left for South Carolina on Saturday morning for a week.
Mikey & Petey had a great time playing with swords and guns with some of the other kids in the park
Cartwheels
A walk along the railroad tracks which have not seen trains in many years
Grandma Alice gave us a tour of the Nursing home part of Thurston Woods
Current and future development
Thurston Woods is a multilevel retirement community and probably the best one I have seen as far as the care given to the people living here.
Dinning room where Grandma Alice eats
The founders
Grandpa Bob and the girls did a little gardening
Bananagrams
Carmen, Mateo along with Grandma & Grandpa checked out the Woodward Dream Cruise
Thanks to Carmen & Grandma for taking some pictures
Although officially only one day a year, people cruise and park along Woodward all summer long from 8 mile north to Pontiac
Most people probably think of the classics being the '50's & '60's but you can see everything from Model A's to to one of a kind prototypes as well as foreign cars either parked or cruising down the road
